Original recipe makes 8
| 1 lb96% lean ground turkey |
| 3 cupscooked pinto beans; (preferably not canned) |
| 2 cupscooked black beans; (preferably not canned) |
| 2 cupslow sodium chicken broth |
| 2 cupsWater |
| 1 tspcumin |
| 2 tsppaprika |
| 1 tspcorse ground black pepper |
| 1 tspred pepper flakes |
| 1 tbspchili powder |
| 1 tbspgarlic powder |
| .5 cupground flax seed; (optional) |
Jy's Turkey Chili Preparation
Brown ground turkey in saute pan and drain any excess fat. Combine with all other ingredients in large stock pan or crock pot and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 20 - 30 minutes or until desired thickness is achieved.
