Pumpkin Pie Dip
Recipes » Appetizers » Dips and Spreads
This is an old favorite of mine from Southern Living. It is wonderful to put out as a nibble when the Fall comes.
"I took this to our family's annual Halloween dinner and trick-or-treating party last night. It is delcious! Tastes just like pumpkin pie, only not as thick. We dipped apples and ginger snaps as suggested, I think other cut fruit would work well too (bananas and pineapples, for example)." - kicazaYield: 3 Ready in 45 minutes

Pumpkin Pie Dip Preparation
It is very important to make sure your cream cheese is completely softened before starting this recipe. In an electric mixer, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar. Then add your pumpkin, cinnamon and ginger. Scrape down bowl to ensure all ingredients are mixed thoroughly. Mix 1 more minute to mix completely. Serve in a small bowl with apple slices, pear slices and/or ginger snap cookies for dipping.
