Original recipe makes 6
1 cupRaw almonds
3 cupsWater
1 teaspoonVanilla extract
1 pkgArtificial sweetner

Home Made Almond Milk Preparation

1. soak almonds over night in water, drain and place in blender

2. add vanilla, sweetner and as much of the 3 cups of water as will fit in your blender (leave 1 inch for expansion)

3. blend for 2 minutes.

4 using a nut milk bag or several layers of cheese clothe strain and squeeze "milk" into bowl. transfer to closed container and refridgerate.

Use with in 5 days.

Notes

left over nut mush can be added to pancakes, muffins, granola, breads... or makes awesome body scrub when added to liquid soap.
