This recipe for meatballs in a sweet and sour sauce is really easy to make. Ground beef balls are cooked over a slow fire in a hot, tangy and sweet concoction to make a yummy treat. A great party appetizer if you are having people over!
In a large bowl, combine the beef, egg, onion and salt. Mix well and shape into small meatballs. In a heavy-bottomed pan, pour in the chili sauce, lemon juice and grape jelly. Drop in the meatballs one at a time and cook on a moderate heat for about 4 hours.
