| 1 cupwater; warm |
| 1/2 teaspoonSalt |
| 2 tablespoonVegetable oil |
| 2 cupFlour; plus extra |
Pizza Dough - No Rise Preparation
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast into the warm water and let stand for 5 minutes.
Add salt, oil and 1 cup of flour.
Add in 1 more cup of flour and up to 1/3 cup more until the dough is smooth enough to roll out.
Add toppings and bake for 20 minutes or until done.
Notes
I found this recipe while serving in the Peace Corps and it satisfied many volunteer longing for a Slice! I have been using it ever since. You get a wonderful aroma from the yeast and I crisp and tasty crust.
