"Fantastic! Substituted Sam Adams Light for the Negra Modelo. Fried the beef in a nonstick pan without oil. When the meat was browned on two sides (but before it was dried out), added some home made taco mix. Served it on corn tortillas with whole pinto beans, roasted tomato salsa, shredded cabbage, and a few scallions. Amazing!"

I used beef broth and it came out just as good as everyone says. It was easy to make and made enough for leftovers :)

Finally! I found a good recipe for shredded beef taco's. It was awesome. I was worried it was going to be to spicy but the meat was perfect. We put black beans, sriracha and guacamole on our taco's and it was sooo yummy!

Try this a few times. It's easy to prepare. Modify the spice ratios a few times to find your favorite

Loved the flavor! Easy to make. We served on both flour and corn tortillas (ur choice) and added cilantro and salsa. We had some leftovers, but not much. It's hard to stop eating this!

Gave my fiance and I lots of leftovers, so we used some of the sjredded beef for bbq shredded beef sandwiches! Was really nice to come home frim a day of work to only have to shred the tender meat and put it in a tortilla!

This was a really great dish! My daughter and her friends loved it! It came out perfect!! I think the beer is supposed to be 'Negra Modela' (not Negro Modela). I spent a lot of time trying to find Negro Modela and don't see where it exists. There is a plain 'modela' beer, but given that the negra is a dark, unique beer, I opted not to substitute!! This recipe is one of my favorites!
