"I read the reviews prior to making these and I took the advice of others. I didn't add the 1/2 cup of beef broth to the meatballs but I did add an additional 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs. I did not have 2 lbs of turkey so I made mine 1/2 turkey and 1/2 ground beef. They were fantastic! The entire family loved them. The fresh parsley is a must. It added so much flavor. We will definitely make these again. "- Mistikaldarkhope

Preheat oven to 450.
Stir together oatmeal and next 12 ingredients (through nutmeg). Combine the ground turkey with the bread crumb mixture. Stir together with a fork.
Use a cookie dropper, portioning scoop, or two spoons and shape the meat mixture into balls (about 2").
Coat a baking sheet (with sides) with nonstick spray. Space meatballs on tray so they're not crowded or touching.
Cover bottom of pan with beef broth. Bake for 25 minutes or until the meatballs are just cooked through.

trainguy 3 months agoI should have put more bread crumbs in to firm them up. when I baked them they turned into meat 'patties' so I chopped them up and added them to the sauce. I also used Hidden Valley Ranch seasoning and salad dressing mix instead of parmesan. All of this made a fantastic spaghetti sauce, my family said it was the best ever.
missjess87 1 year agoI make this all the time. You can sub out the dairy for almond or soy milk and its amazing!!
jillrussack 1 year agoThe recipe as follows was too watery so I added about 3/4 cup more breadcrumbs. I also did not have beef broth so I used one cup of chicken broth and a splash of soy sauce. I baked them in a marinara sauce layer for 25 minutes...came out DELICIOUS. I may use 1/2 cup of broth next time so I can use less breadcrumb but overall, these were great!
srbodlak 1 year agoOh yeah, these ARE good! With the one cup of bread crumbs in addition to the oatmeal, they shaped up nicely. I also made a meatloaf with part of the meat, which baked about 35 minutes.
erikawasielewski 1 year agoThe flavor is great on these! However, mine were really loose. I ended up with patties instead of balls because there was no way to shape them. But because they are so tasty I plan to make again. Thanks!
Whedongeek 1 year agoMy family loves this, but I don't use pepper flakes

Summerobaby 2 years agoI just tried this recipe tonight and it was delish! I did not have beef broth so I skipped it in the mix and baked the meatballs over spaghetti sauce in the oven. I also used skim milk instead. My fiancée loved it and so did I. Great recipe to make on a busy work night since it is so fast, easy and pretty healthy.
