5 lbs Boston Butt or pork shoulder; (up to 6), bone-in
1 tablespoon Paprika
1/2 tablespoon Cumin
1/2 tablespoon Black pepper
1/2 tablespoon Salt
1/2 tablespoon Sugar
3/4 teaspoon Garlic powder
3/4 teaspoon Chili powder
3/4 teaspoon Cayenne

Servings  

Preparation

Blend spices and rub over meat.

Place in slow cooker and cook 5 - 6 hours on high or 8 - 10 hours on low

Serve leftovers shredded with barbecue sauce.

I'm trying it right now...I'm a novis at slow cooking. The shoulder won't fit in my crock pot so I'm putting it in the roaster oven.... Should there be liquid in the bottom???
