Preheat oven to 200 °C (400 °F), or fan oven 180 °C (360 °F)
Mix the melted butter, brown sugar and the egg yolks in a large bowl.
In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites and the white sugar.
When ready, add it to the butter and yolks. Mix them all softly together, then gently add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, then finally the diced apples.
Lightly oil a casserole, and pour this mixture into it. You can use apple slices to decorate the pie.
Bake for approximately 45 minutes. Depending on the amount of apples, time can vary.

bszabo 4 years agoWorks with any sugar, but the finer the sugar, the better the result when beating the egg whites. Do not drop any of the yolk in the whites, because the whites won`t be hard then. [I posted this recipe.]
