Make sure your chicken is cleaned out, rinsed and pat dry. Peel onion and place whole inside the cavity of the chicken. season to taste. Place chicken in large slow cooker and set on low for 8 hours. *PLEASE DO NOT ADD LIQUID!!! You will be amazed how juicy and tender this turns out!

Monkeypire 4 months agoReally good flavor if you get 'rotisserie' seasoning; although next time I am going to use large boneless chicken breasts. Fell off the bone. Tender and juicy.

MauraSpeckt 11 month agoMy family appreciated this recipe almost as much as I did for its simplicity. Only 2 ingredients! Though I did cheat and add some poultry seasoning. This was delightful and will be made at least monthly!

italia 1 year agoTried it and loved it. So easy, just 'shove the onion' in and that's it. I've added some seasoning on the skin but you don't really need to. Moist, soft, no-frills main. Thanks for the idea.

THEQueenCobra 2 years agoI admit I was skeptical about this recipe but it was good! Tender, juicy chicken-I just wish I had seasoned under the skin.
