Original recipe makes 24 Servings
1/2 cupbutter
1 1/2 cupssugar
1 egg
1 cuppumpkin; canned (NOT pumpkin pie mix, 100% pumpkin only)
2 1/2 cupsflour
1 teaspoonbaking powder
1 teaspoonbaking soda
1 teaspooncinnamon
1 teaspoonnutmeg
1/2 teaspoonsalt
12 ozchocolate chips; 6-12 oz (depending on how chocolaty you want it)

Best Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies Preparation

*Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

Cream together butter & sugar; add in egg, pumpkin and vanilla; beat well. Stir dry ingredients together and add to pumpkin mixture; add chocolate chips.

Place on greased cookie sheet, bake for 13-14 minutes (to test for doneness, lightly press finger into cookie; it should come pack up slightly)

Everytime I make this for get togethers, I get rave reviews. It's such a big hit!

    I made these a few weeks ago I think I expected more of a pumpkin flavor but there wasn't much so that was a little disappointing but they were still good I may make again!
