4 cupsWater
4 Lipton Orange and Spice tea bags
1 cupbrown sugar; (not packed)
4 cupsapple cider
2 cinnamon sticks
12 apple slices
1 orange peel
1.5 cupsrum OR 1.5 cups brandy

Spiked Apple Cider Preparation

In a large pot, boil the water. Turn off stove and steep the tea bags for 5 minutes. Add brown sugar and dissolve in hot tea. Then add cinnamon sticks, apple cider and apple slices and bring to a simmer for 15 minutes. Remove from heat and add alcohol and orange peel curls. Transfer to crock pot to keep warm, but do not boil. Leave fruit and cinnamon sticks floating in cider.
