Tried and True, this recipe was passed down to me from my maternal Grandmother. It is the meatloaf that she used to serve for Sunday dinner and has been a favorite of our family for as long as I can remember! Grandma always served it with scalloped potatoes and creamed corn. Try it with your favorite salad and vegetable side dishes.

Frugalfoodie1 , 1 years agoBest recipe yet. Will be serving at the next family gathering!
chericetaylor , 1 years agoThis was a delicious meatloaf. I used ground turkey and added chopped green pepper. The whole family loved it and asked for seconds. Will definitely make again.
itsthekeri , 1 years agoProbably the best meatloaf I've ever made. Everyone cleared off their plates. Lol. We did add celery to the batch tho, and it helped give alittle crunch. Definitely going to be my go-to recipe. 5 stars!!
Huntheat , 1 years agoThe meat: this one was one of the more time-consuming meatloaf recipes to put together and definitely the most bland in taste. No bang for the buck at all. Husband and guests all hated it and I had to make another meal on the fly. The glaze : simple but yet a little unique, my favorite glaze yet - I plan to use it again and again and making this recipe was more than worth the time and trouble to discover this easy-to-make yummy glaze.
Jd0447885 , 1 years agoThis is a fantastic recipe. I made it for my husband who loves meatloaf. The glaze makes this dish and I would definitely recommend making extra. Will definitely make again.
PatSears , 1 years agoI love this recipe. It is so good we love it
Lachupacabra85 , 1 years agoMy whole family loved it! Best meatloaf ever!
OLDHAM , 1 years agoExcellent meatloaf! I used a Thai pepper sauce with the glaze and made a double batch. Having a little extra glaze to pour over the top while on my plate really put it over the top. 85% lean ground beef was just right. Not too dry and not too fatty. My family loved it. I will definitely be making it again.

Bnfowler19 , 1 years agoI thought that MY grandma's meatloaf was good but this was AMAZING! The best I've ever tasted. Highly recommend.
Motheroftwo , 1 years agoThis was the best meatloaf I have ever eaten! I'm not normally a big meatloaf fan but my family likes it and I've tried for years to find a great recipe . I did make a few adjustments by adding about 1/2 of a green bell pepper diced and about 1 1/2 sleeves of crushed saltines. Will definetly be making this recipe from now on!
Gutzj01 , 1 years agoReally really good! I made this exactly like the recipe said and it was delicious. My husband said it was the best meatloaf he has ever had. I did double the sauce and made a reduction sauce to add to the final product and I am glad I did. It made it that much more flavorful.
DoughDaddy , 1 years agoExcellent meatloaf! Every time I make it people always tell me how good it is and most of the time they ask for the recipe!
gwx , 1 years agoI've been looking for a good meatloaf recipe for years and have tried more recipes than I care to admit. My search is over. This is absolutely delicious...just as it is! I've made it three times now and it never fails...one bite and I can't leave it alone. Thanks, Grandma!
djcalgal , 2 years agoReally good I added a few extra spices(garlic, red pepper 1/2 amt of tomato paste) will definitely make again
bashylv , 2 years agoI forgot to add that i used fresh ground turkey instead of beef. The taste was excellent.
nhenley , 2 years agoI've made this dih multiple times...I love the glaze, I add a little bbq sauce..and I add garlic powder, onion powder, and green peppers to the meatloaf...my family absolutely loves this dish!
NMnative , 2 years agoThis is a great recipe for a great meatloaf. My family loves it. I also tried it using 93% lean ground beef but it came out a little denser or drier than I liked. I will stick with 85% lean chuck or maybe use 93% but replace part of it with some ground pork. It is a crowd pleaser as written.
Patti503 , 2 years agoThis is awesome! I didn't put in a meatloaf pan, I put in a muffin pan, poked my finger in the middle just after my first knuckle, filled with glaze, baked 25-30 minutes.
Mureksoy , 2 years agoLoved this recipe. I was out of tomato paste so I used 8 oz of tomato sauce and left out the milk. Also used half beef and half turkey breast. It was moist and delicious.
