1 1/2 cups Karo syrup
1 1/2 cups Sugar
6 Eggs
1 stick melted butter
2 tablespoons vanilla
2 unbaked pie shells
3 cups pecans

Original recipe makes 6



Mix everything together and pour into pie shells. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Until a nice golden brown.

This pie is delicious! It set beautifully, which can sometimes be a problem with pecan pies. I'm going to try the chocolate chips next time. What could be better than a southern pecan pie with chocolate?!? Thanks so much for posting this recipe. It made two pies, so I now have one in the freezer for later.
