Original recipe makes 6
| 3 tablespoonsButter |
| 2 1/2 cupsMacaroni; uncooked |
| 8 ouncesCheddar cheese; shredded |
| 1 quartmilk |
| 1 dashsalt and pepper; depending upon taste |
Homemade Macaroni and Cheese Preparation
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Place butter in 2 quart casserole dish, place in oven to melt. Once butter is melted, pour in macaroni and stir to coat. Sprinkle cheese and desired amount of salt and pepper throughout macaroni. Toss lightly, then flatten out. Pour milk to cover entire casserole, DO NOT STIR. Bake at 350 for one hour (do not cover).
