| 2 dried red chilis |
| 3 clovesgarlic; smashed |
| 3 (1 inch pieces)fresh ginger |
| 1 tablespoonrice wine vinegar |
| 1/4 cupssoy sauce |
| 1/2 cupsBrown Sugar |
| 2 tablespoonsCorn Syrup |
| 3 lbschicken wings |
| 1/2 cupscorn starch; seasoned with salt & pepper |
| Oil; for frying wings |
| 3 tablespoonstoasted sesame seeds |
| 2 tablespoonscanola oil |
Sticky, Spicy Chicken Wings Preparation
Heat canola oil in frying pan over medium.Add chili,garlic & ginger.Saute about 5min.,then remove seasonings from oil. Add rice wine vinegar,soy,brown sugar & corn syrup.heat to boil for 1 min.,turn off heat,sauce will thicken.
Toss chicken wings in seasoned corn starch.Tap off excess corn starch. Pan fry wings in 1" oil till really crispy 7-8 min..Drain. toss wings with sauce & sprinkle with sesame seeds .Chopped scallions are good tossed on too.
Have lots of napkins & a good cold beverage at the ready.Enjoy
