Ham Steaks with Southwest Rub
Original recipe makes 4
| 1 000 The Rub 000 |
| 2 tablespoonschili powder |
| 2 teaspoonskosher salt |
| 1 teaspoondried oregano |
| 1 teaspooncayenne pepper |
| 1 teaspoonbrown sugar |
| 0.5 teaspoonfreshly-ground black pepper |
| 1 000 Ham Steaks 000 |
| 1 tablespoonbutter; melted |
| 2 3/4" thickcenter cut ham steaks |
Ham Steaks with Southwest Rub Preparation
Combine rub ingredients in a small bowl
Brush melted butter on both sides of steaks
Sprinkle rub on both sides of steaks
Grill over direct medium heat for 6 minutes, turning once halfway through grilling time
