2 Eggs
0.5 teaspoon nutmeg
0.5 teaspoon Salt
12 pecan halves; up to 14
3 tablespoons whipping cream
1 14-oz can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon cinnamon
0.5 teaspoon ginger
1 9-inch pastry shell unbaked
3 tablespoons dark brown sugar

Preparation

heat oven to 375'. in a larg bowl, combine yams, condensed milk,eggs, spices and salt. beat at medium speed until smooth.pour into unbaked 9-inch pastry shell. bake at 375' for 50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.let cool slighly. arrange pecan halves in circle on top of pie.set aside.

in a small saucepan, combine dark brown sugar and whipping cream. cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves. reduse heat and simmer 5 minutes.let cool 5 minutes.spoon over pie.
