Ready in 30 minutes
This is a great cheese dip for the football season. It can be easily tweaked to fit your level of "hot".
"We always call this 'jimmy dean dip!' I'm always asked to make it for holidays because everyone loves it. It's hands down one of my favorite, and easiest to make, dips!"- scoutu12

Place entire roll of sausage into frying pan. Break up with wooden spoon and crumble as you fry it. In the meantime, cut the velveeta cheese up into one inch cubes. Place the cheese in a microwaveable bowl and heat until entirely melted. When cheese has completely melted, open can of rotel and mix into cheese. Remove sausage from stove and drain. When sausage has thoroughly drained, mix into cheese. Stir all contents thoroughly, and serve with your favorite chip just prior to kick-off!

bigjohnwayne 4 years agoDon't worry if the cheese seems thick when heated, the rotel will thin it out. If you like it thinner, just add a little more rotel to it. Servings yielded is an estimate [I posted this recipe.]
