Original recipe makes 4
3 clovesGarlic; minced
1 poundground meat; equal parts pork and beef is good
1/4 cupParmesan; grated
9 saltine crackers; finely crushed
1/2 teaspoonSalt
1 Black pepper
1 oregano
1 dried basil
1 tablespoonFresh parsley; chopped
1/4 cupWater
1 egg
1 teaspoontomato paste
vegetable oil; for frying

Bob Dylan's Balls Preparation

In a large bowl, add meat, garlic, cheese, crackers, and spices. Mix thoroughly with your fingers. In a small bowl whisk water, egg, and tomato paste. Add the egg mixture to the meat mixture and mix thoroughly with your fingers. Form into balls. Add vegetable oil to large pan. Heat oil to medium-medium high. Cook until the meatballs are browned on all sides.
