Original recipe makes 8
1 pound ofground beef
1 smallOnion; chopped
1 16-oz jarsalsa; your favorite
1 4-oz cangreen chilies; diced
8 hamburger buns
2 cupsMexican blend cheese; shredded

South of The Border Sloppy Joes Preparation

Cook ground beef and chopped onion on med-high heat until beef is no longer pink. Drain ground beef mixture in a strainer to remove some of the grease. Return pan to stove and add salsa and chilies. Turn heat down to low and simmer for about 5 - 10 minutes or until heated through. Spoon Sloppy Joe mixture onto buns and top with a generous helping of cheese. Serve hot.
