A great tradition! The recipe makes a ton, but they are so good they will be eaten before you know it! Be sure to save some for yourself before handing them out to guests!" - enjelle79

I have not made this yet but I am looking to make it today. One question... What is the wax that it calls for? And is this actually needed or can we substitute something for it? Thank you!

This is for Amanda~Thank you so much for the tip/hint, I think I will try that this year. I already have request and usually end up making at least 2 batches. Time consuming but well worth the happy smiles when given out! Have a great year!

I haven't actually made these yet, but my aunt makes about 300 dozen a year for Christmas baskets. She adds rice crispy cereal to the PB mix to add texture and I make myself sick on them every year. Just thought I would added that suggest for others. :)

Thank you everyone for your comments! Yes, you are right, i forgot to mention to refridge OR freeze for easier dipping. Adding vanilla is always good, do you think adding maple would make them NON peanut buttery? Will have to try that some time :) TY 2 all of you!

Absolutely Delicious! But it makes to many, I was giving them out to friends and family. Everyone loved them! Very easy to make if you refrigerate the balls before you dip them inchocolate

Made these by request from my husband who is from Ohio. These were easy to make and fantastic. Very rich so you can only eat 2 or 3 at a time.

These were great! Tip for a previous poster: freeze the peanut butter ball prior to dipping. That worked for me! :-)
