Super easy dish that is so yummy everyone will love it!
"Delicious! I altered it a little though. I made the bacon in a separate pan and made extra krispy. Then I used some of the bacon grease to saute the shallots and sprouts instead of the evoo. After sprouts were done I sprinkled the crispy bacon on top."- jonziefl

Add Shallot than garlic until shallot is translucent.
Add brussels sprouts and saute for 2 minutes.
Add Chicken Broth and boil than reduce heat to med/low and cover.

Heatherferg 7 months agoI was running out of time so I 1/4'd the Brussels Sprouts and made this recipe without using the chicken broth. Really nice. Looking forward to making it again.

CherieBonine 1 year agoThis recipe turned my brussel sprout hating husband into a fan! I also felt there was no need to use olive oil when I had perfectly good bacon grease to use. I love the pine nut suggestion and will try it out next time I make it.

Amandajane40 1 year agoWhat a wonderful way to eat Brussels Sprouts. All 3 kids ate everything with no complaints. Will try it with pine nuts as suggested by another reviewer next time. Highly recommended!

Jkillum 1 year agoI wish I could post the photo I took... I followed the recipe to the T and I don't think brussel sprouts get any better than this. Trust me folks, don't mess with a good thing.

dsk8er 2 years agoI used this recipe, and was very satisfied. My wife swore that there was butter, and of course there was not. I do recomend this recipe. My eleven year old even ate all of his without much resistance.
jadeskiss 2 years agoThis was very good. I used turkey bacon and didn't use any evoo since there was enough bacon drippings to sauté the sprouts. Very tasty, even my 3 year old liked it.
sprickett 2 years agoReally good. We are not brussels sprouts eaters normally, but got some in our co-op this week so we decided to try them. I did add butter to them after they finished simmering.
MichalaL 2 years agoMade this today but instead of chicken broth used plain water. Absolutely delicious, my husband even told his mum how good it was and gave her the recipe to try it!
