We've tried alot of variations on our chili recipe over the years. One of the challenges of cooking with venison is to please the tastebuds of those that don't like wild game. This recipe will have them asking for more and never knowing that it's not beef.

Original recipe makes 16
2 lbsground Venison
1 mediumOnion; diced
2 28-oz cansDiced Tomato & Green Chilies
1 can (8 oz)Tomato sauce
2 cupsWater
2 tablespoonChili Powder
1 16-oz canPinto beans
1 16-oz canKidney beans
1 16-oz canBlack beans
1 packageCheddar cheese; shredded
1 bagChili cheese Fritos

Venison Slow-cooker Chili Preparation

Brown venison with onion in pan. Place into 6 quart slow cooker.

Add all remaining ingredients, except cheese and Fritos, to slow cooker. Cook on low heat for 4 - 6 hours.

Add cheese and Fritos to chili as desired.
