Ingredients

1 cup quick oats
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tbs salt
2 tablespoon margarine
2 cup boiling water
1 package yeast
1/2 cup water; warm
5 cup white flour

Original recipe makes 12

Servings  

Preparation

Pour 2 c. boiling over first 5 ingredients. Let sit until lukewarm.

Dissolve 1 pkg. yeast in 1/2 c. warm water. Mix together with oat mixture. Gradually add flour. Knead. Let rise until double. Punch down. Shape into loaves. Let rise until double.

Bake at 350F for 30-40 min.
