My husband's grandmother's recipe! Definitely delicious!
You can substitute ground turkey for the ground beef.
These baked beans are even more delicious when eaten cold the next day!
Fry 7 strips of bacon in large skillet.
Crumble bacon strips after cooking.
In bacon grease, sauté 1 cup of chopped onion.
Remove from skillet and drain excess grease from onion.
Brown 1 lb. of ground beef.
Drain excess grease.
Add 1 cup of ketchup and 6 tbsp. of brown sugar to beef and stir thoroughly.
Add 2 16 oz. cans of B&M baked beans, onions, and bacon. Mix thoroughly.
Place contents into 9x14 glass baking pan and bake for 30 minutes ~~at; 350 degrees.
