My Favorite Chili

This delicious, easy chili recipie is good with chicken and or hamburger and not too spicy. I got this recipie from my daughter (not sure where it came from)

Original recipe makes 8 Servings
1 1/2 poundHamburger and or Chicken
3 stripsBacon; chopped
1 Onion; diced
2 clovesGarlic; crushed
2 Celery sticks; chopped
1 Green Pepper; diced
1 teaspoonsChili powder; to taste
1/2 teaspoonOregano
1/2 teaspoonCumin
1 teaspoonSalt; to taste
1 teaspoonPepper; to taste
1 tablespoonWorcestershire Sauce
2 tblspoonsSugar; to taste
1 tablespoonRed wine vinegar
1 can (12 oz)Tomato Soup
1 can (16 oz)Tomatoes; stewed
1 can (28oz)Kidney beans
1 cupPortabella Mushrooms; chopped

My Favorite Chili Preparation

Saute till browned: hamb and or chicken, bacon and garlic.

Saute till soft: onion, celery and green pepper

Add chili, oregano, cumin, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, Red Wine vinegar,

Mix all together and add rest of ingredients all at once.

Simmer approx. 30 minutes

Notes

Served next day allows flavors to blend more but great the first day too.
