Walking Taco

This is not so much a recipe...but a GREAT idea...and if you have ever had a kid who played ball, this IS your basic Little League Ballpark food. These are great for the kids when they have sleep overs. They also make great "hand held" food for football games in front of the TV!!!

Cuisine: MexicanMain Ingredient: hamburger

Servings
Original recipe makes 6 Servings
1 lbground beef
1 taco seasoning mix
1 lettuce; shredded
1 shredded cheese (Mexican blend; cheddar, colby...whatever works for you)
1 sour cream
1 taco; salsa or picante sauce
6 bagscorn/nacho chips

Walking Taco Preparation

Brown ground beef, drain, return to pan/crockpot.

Add Taco seasoning mix according to directions on packet.

Cook

TO ASSEMBLE: Carefully open a bag of corn/nacho chips along the sealed direction being careful not to"tear" the bag (because it is your bowl!!). Crush chips if you wish.

Add whatever your heart desires.

Be careful not to fill bag to full as it will be hard to mix it up.

Stick a fork in it and take off!

Have all the topping ingredients next to the crockpot, so each person can make their own “walking taco”. Instruct everyone to crush an individual size bag of taco chips for themselves, then open it up and start adding in all the toppings they want (or can get in the bag), starting with the meat first.
