Pork Tacos al carbon Style

These Tacos are al' carbon style which only means that they resemble Tacos del Carbon from Del Taco. Al carbon means that you cook the meat over hot coals. Well, my meat is done in the crock pot. But these are really good and an easy lunch or dinner.

1 Crockpot Carnitas recipe # 174250
1/2 white onion diced
1/4 cupcilantro chopped fine
6 corn tortillas fried in oil for 1 min on each side

Pork Tacos al carbon Style Preparation

Make your own carnitas meat or use my easy recipe for crock pot carnitats found on my recipe page

Fry your tortillas in a little oil in a very hot pan.

I fry them for 1 minute on each side. I like them firm so that they don't fall apart, but not crunchy.

Drain them on paper towel.

Fill them with you carnitas meat, white onion and Cilantro.

That's it, super easy. I like to make my pork crunchy by fying it in a little oil and butter add salt and pepper too.
