This recipe is a base recipe for a quick root beer soda drink. This recipe is taken from the 'Frugal Gormet Whole Family Cookbook.'
Stir 2 cups of cooking Splenda into 1 cup of waterand just heat until all disolves and the liquid becomes clear.
Add 1 tablespoon of root beer extract to complete syrup.
Place 2 ounces of syrup in a 12-ounces soda glass.
Add a little ice and soda to fill: 8 ounces of soda to 2 ounces of syrup. Stir only once so that you don't work out the carbonation.
