Notes 5 minute chocolate mug cake Preparation
Add all the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, cocoa) into a mug and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips and vanilla extract and mix again.
Put the mug in the microwave and and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high). The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed. Allow to cool a little and tip out if desired.
EAT! This can serve two people, if you want to feel slightly more virtuous.

I made three at a time and had to micro for 7 minutes. was tasty, I like savory desserts like dark chocolate and it wasn't too sweet. I was very impressed! my mother in law even liked it.

I made it with brown sugar and instead of chocolate I added coffee essence! It was amazing! Pourer some cream through the middle when it's finished! Definitely a winner! And soooooo easy! :D

Works really well with self raising flour instead of plain flour.

Won't be making again, great idea but not very tasty, at least for adults anyways. You can do the same thing with a regular boxed cake mix and it tastes much better and is not near as tough and dense

Quick tip: It is even better when you add 2-3 tablespoons of nutella! :-D
