Tasty treat for dessert with soda cracker base
- Preheat the oven to 400
- Use a cookie sheet (approx 10x13) lined with aluminum foil
- Place enough soda crackers (salted) to neatly cover the tray
- On stove top, heat to bubbling (but not boiling):
3/4 cup of brown sugar and
3/4 cup of butter
- Pour over the crackers. Use a spatula to fill in all the cracks and place in oven at 400F for 5 minutes
- Remove from the oven and spinkle with:
1 packet of white chocolate chips (300-350 grams)
1 packet of chocolate chips (300-350 grams)
- Place back in oven at 400F for 2 minutes
- Remove from oven and swirl the 2 chocolates together with a spatula
- Place in freezer for 1 hour or on counter top overnight (I found they at least need the fridge)
- Peel off the foil and break up into bite size pieces
I put 4 dozens as the yield but its based on how big you make the pieces. I find that the longer this stuff is around, the tastier it gets... usually by day 3 its irresistable.
