Original recipe makes 1
1 lgLemon; juice of
salt and pepper; to taste
1 lgtomato; Firm, choppped
3 cRice; soaked in boiling water
1 bnParsley; minced
1/2 colive oil
1 tsDried mint; (optional)
1 bnGreen Onions; chopped

Vegetarian Stuffed Grape Leaves Preparation

1. Thoroughly rince rice and drain well. 2. Mix the rice and all the above ingredients in a bowl. 3. If you are using fresh grape leaves blanch in boiling water for a minute. Stuff and cook. Note:You could use torn grape leaves or slices of tomato to line the bottom of the pan so that the bottom layer of stuffed grape leaves wont scorch.
