Original recipe makes 6 Servings
2 canscream of potato soup; 10 3/4 oz each; undiluted
2 canscream of chicken soup; 10 3/4 oz each; undiluted
2 cupsmilk
1 canchicken broth; 14 1/2 oz
1 canMexicorn; 11 oz; drained
1 pkg. ready to serve chicken breast strips; 10 oz; chopped
1 canchopped green chilies; 4 oz
3 flour tortillas; 8 in; cut into strips
1 cupshredded cheddar cheese; additional cheese for topping; optional

Chicken Tortilla Chowder Preparation

In a large saucepan, heat soups, milk, and broth; stir frequently. Add corn, chicken, and chilies; bring to a boil. Stir in tortilla strips. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered for 5 minutes. Stir in cheese until melted. Sprinkle additional cheese if desired. Serve with tortilla chips.
