Ingredients
Original recipe makes 6 Servings
| 2 cupssliced fennel |
| 2 cups ofleeks sliced |
| (use only white & Lt green parts) |
| 12 smallred potatoes quarted |
| 1 jar(26oz) marinara sause |
| 1 3/4 cups ofchicken broth |
| 1 cup ofwater |
| 1/3 cup ofdry red wine |
| 1/4 tap crushed red pepper |
| 25 mussels |
| 12 scallops |
| 1 lb ofhalibut fillet cut on chunks |
| (Remove skin) |
Cioppino (Womens Day healthy living) Preparation
1.Put all the ingredients except seafood in a 5-qt slow cooker.
2.Cover and cook 7 to 9 hrs on low or until vegetables are done
3.Add seafood with shells at high heat.Cover for 30 min or until
Mussels open and scallops and halibut is done.
