My mom's recipe for a variation on meatloaf. You will love it if you like rueben sandwiches.
Combine egg, onion, relish, russian dressing, worchestershire sauce, bread crumbs, salt and pepper and mix well. Add ground chuck and mix well.
On wax paper, pat meat mixture into a 12" x 8" rectangle. Drain sauerkraut and spoon on top of meat. Top with 3/4 cup of the swiss cheese. Using wax paper to lift, roll up meat into roll (jelly roll style) beginning with the short end. Press ends to seal.
Place roll seam side down into a 13" x 9" loaf pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Sprinkle remaining cheese on top and continuing baking until chees is melted. About 3 minutes.
