Original recipe makes 4 Servings
talapia; 4 filets
flour; 1/2 cup
spices; seafoood blend or dried hherbs
salt; teaspoon
pepper; pinch
eevo; 2 tbls
butter; 2 tbls
lemon; or 2 tbls of lemon juice
parsley; oregano, cilantro, basil or some other fresh herb
garlic; 2 - 3 cloves

Pan seared Talapia Preparation

mix flour and spices/herbs/salt/pepper together in a flat dish.

place filets in flour mixture, lightly coat, turn over and coat.

heat eevo or canoli oil in pan at medium to medium high heat.

once hot, add filets; heat for 2-4 minutes until browning occurs.

turn over for similar time.

remove filets and move to pan on parchment (for brief absorbsion) in oven at 300 to keep warm.

scrap leftovers from bottom on pan.

add butter, salt, pepper, lemon juice, chopped or diced garlic.

heat, but don't brown, add chopped herb at the end so they don't wilt too much.

take filets out of the oven and pour this sauce over the fish.

Serve & enjoy.
