This truly takes the healthy out of salad but it really puts the yummy in. Non-salad types will love it and you can substitute low-fat or fat-free cheese and ranch dressing if you must.

1 packageRomaine Lettuce; or one head
1/2 cupRanch Dressing
3/4 cupShredded Cheese; Cheddar or Italian or Mexican Blend
2 tbBacon bits

Wash & Dry Lettuce and Toss other ingredients just before serving.

As stated, substitute Low-Fat or Fat-Free Cheese and/or use imitation bacon bits for a healthier option. Any hardy lettuce can be substituted as well, like iceberg. This also works well as a wedge with the ingredients piled on the wedge [I posted this recipe.]
