I challenged myself to make a brussel sprout dish my 10 yr old daughter would love, and this seemed to do the trick!

Ingredients

Servings          
Original recipe makes 4 Servings
One bag of frozen brussel sprouts 12 to 16 oz.
3 strips ofbacon
1/2 stick ofbutter or margarine
2 TBS of Balsamic Vinegar (I use the cheaper stuff)
1 TBS of Brown Sugar
Salt and Pepper to taste

Kid friendly Brussel Sprouts Preparation

Cut the bacon into small pieces and put into a medium sauce pan. Cook on medium heat until bacon is crisp. Remove bacon and set aside and wipe the grease out of the pan. Now add butter, and melt, once melted add Balsamic Vinegar, and Brown Sugar cook on medium heat until mixture gets thick and bubbly. In the meantime cook your brussel sprouts according to package directions. When done add the brussel sprouts, and bacon to sauce mixture and toss together until sprouts are well coated and serve.

I cook on a budget so therefore I use the cheaper balsamic vinegar which is more sour than the more expensive ones. Therefore you may need to adjust your brown sugar accordingly to the quality of your Balsamic Vinegar. I have yet to share this with anyone who didn't like it. Hope you all enjoy! [I posted this recipe.]
