place pot or deep dish on stove using low temp.
in the pot, mix olive oil and butter. wait till you here the "sizzle" sound.
mix onions, chili peppers, garlic and ginger. sautee till somewhat cooked.
add black pepper, chili powder to the mix and stir. do this for about 2-3 minutes or so.
once you see that the ingrediants are drying up, add half a cup of water to keep it liquid.
increase the temp. to medium-high at this point.
add the bbq sauce and stir on medium - high heat.
then add chicken. mix the chicken with the ingredients until all the chicken has been covered with the sauce.
put the lid on and wait. keep the temp at medium heat.
check every 3-5 minutes, and stir.
make sure you cut little slits on the chicken so the chicken will absorb the flavored sauce.
if the sauce is too spicy, add a little yogurt to the mix and stir.
serve with rice or tortilla.
