Mexican Hamburger and Rice
A great chip and dip receipe often used while watching sporting events.

Ingredients
| 1 poundGround beef; drained |
| 1 mediumOnion; chopped |
| 1 10 ozTomato; diced |
| 1 cupRice |
| 1 cupWater |
| 1 packageTaco Seasoning |
| 1 1/2 cupsLettuce; chopped |
| 1 mediumTomato; chopped |
| 1 cupBlack olives; sliced |
| 1 smallAvocado; diced |
| 2 cupsMonterey jack cheese; shredded |
| 1 cupSour cream |
| 4 cupsTortilla Chips |
Mexican Hamburger and Rice Preparation
Cook hamburger and onion together in a skillet until meat is well done. Drain off fat.
Add canned tomatoes, rice, water and taco seasoning.
Cook over medium heat until rice absorbs the water.
Remove from heat and add lettuce, tomato, black olives, avocado, cheese and sour cream
to the top of the hamburger and rice.
Serve with tortilla chips.
This dish is a sort of hybrid taco salad. The rice takes up much of the room that would otherwise
be occupied by tortilla chips, so the end result should be healthful.
