We grill these giant Portabellas and serve instead of meat with the meal. We grill one giant mushroom per person. They would also make great appetizers.
GENTLY Clean the mushroom, remove the stem, and place on it's back, "gill" side up.
Put some shredded cheese in it, then some Bacon Bits, and then more shredded cheese on top.
Grill on the back with cheese side up, for about 10 or 15 minutes on medium heat between 300 and 400 degrees.
