| 8 ozuncooked spaghetti | |
| 1 cupricotta cheese | |
| 1 cupshredded part-skim mozzarella cheese, divided; 4 o | |
| 2 tablespoonsgrated parmesan cheese | |
| 1/2 tspItalian seasoning | |
| 1/2 tspgarlic powder | |
| 1 jarmeatless spaghetti sauce; 26 oz | |
| 1 canItalian diced tomatoes, undrained; 14.5 oz | |
| 1 jarsliced mushrooms, drained; 4.5 oz | |
| 4 breaded fully cooked chicken patties; 10 to 14 oz | |
Chicken Spaghetti Casserole Preparation
Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine the ricotta, .5 cup mozzarella, parmesan, Italian seasoning and garlic powder; set aside. In another bowl, combine the spaghetti sauce, tomatoes, and mushrooms.
Drain spaghetti; add 2 cups spaghetti sauce mixture and toss to coat. Transfer to greased 13in X 9in by 2in baking dish; top with cheese mixture. Place chicken patties over the top; drizzle with remaining spaghetti sauce mixture. Sprinkle with the remaining mozzarella. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes or until bubbly.
Yields 4 servings
