sgrishka 2 years agoEasy to make and delicious! I did deviate from the recipe directions slightly. Since it is a quick bread, for texture sake, I wanted to cut down on some of the beating called for in the recipe. I creamed together the butter and sugar, beat in the eggs until mixture was light and fluffy then beat in bananas, sour cream and vanilla until smooth. I lightly folded the banana mixture into dry ingredients with a spatula until just combined, then folded in the nuts which I had toasted first. My loaf was done and golden-brown after baking for 55 minutes. It turned out quite well...it was moist, had great taste and texture and was enjoyed by all.
