"I have been making this drink for years. Glad to see it posted. I can't vacation at the beach house without this beverage in my freezer. It is so refreshing on hot summer days. Original recipe makes 20 Servings
| 7 cupsWater |
| 3 cupsBourbon |
| 12 ouncesFrozen lemonade |
| 6 ouncesFrozen orange juice |
| 1 1/2 cupsSugar |
| 2 cupsTea; (strong/4 regular or 2 family size teabags) |
| 1 literGinger ale; (optional) |
Bourbon Slush Preparation
Stir together all ingredients at least 2 days ahead (may only take 24 hours). To serve, scoop slush into glass. May add ginger ale for better consistency.
