Cinnamon Sugar coated Muffins that are fast and easy to make, and kids absolutely love them.
Preheat oven to 350* degrees
Prepare 12 - 16 muffin cups by greasing and flouring or by using a paper liner
In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and 1 cup granulated sugar
In a small bowl combine oil, eggs and milk
Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until just combined
fill muffin cups 3/4 full
Bake for 15 - 20 minutes or until muffins are golden brown and toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
While muffins are baking,in a small dish combine: 3/4 cup remaining granulated sugar and cinnamon. Place melted butter in a separate small dish and set both aside.
When muffins come out of the oven, run a knife around the edges of each muffin cup, invert muffins onto a baking sheet
Brush muffin tops with melted butter and dip immediately into cinnamon sugar
Serve while hot
