Original recipe makes 18 Servings
1/2 c. butter; melted
1 egg
1 yellow cake mix
3 Eggs
8 oz.cream cheese; softened
16 oz.powdered sugar

Chess Cake Preparation

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour a 9"x13" cake pan. Mix melted butter, 1 egg, and dry yellow cake mix with mixer until crumbly. Press into bottom of cake pan. Then mix 3 eggs, cream cheese, and powdered sugar with mixer. Pour over bottom layer. Bake 35 minutes until set.
