3 tablespoonsUNSWEETENED COCOA POWDER
8-10 CHOPPED READY TO EAT PRUNES
1/2 cupWHOLEWHEAT FLOUR
1/2 cupREFINED FLOUR
1/2 teaspoonBAKING POWDER
1/2 teaspoonSODA BICARBONATE
1 cupCASTOR SUGAR
1/2 cupSKIMMED MILK
2 EGG WHITES; BEATEN
1 teaspoonVANILLA ESSENCE
1 teaspoonsOLIVE OIL

Low-fat Prunes Brownies Preparation

PREHEAT AN OVEN TO 180 DEGREE C /350 DEGREE F/ G

AS MARK 4.LINE AN 8 INCH SQUARE CAKE TIN WITH BUTTER PAPER.

SIFT THE COCOA POWDER.WHOLEWHEAT FLOUR,REINED FLOUR & SODA BICARBONATE INTO A BOWL.

STIR THE CASTOR SUGAR,THEN BEAT IN THE MILK ,EGG WHITES,VANILLA ESSENCE & OLIVE OIL UNTIL THOROUGHLY COMBINED.

MIX ALL THE INGREDIENTS WELL TO MAKE A SMOOTH BATTER and PUT IN THE CHOPPED PRUNES.

POUR THE BATTER INTO THE CAKE TIN.

BAKE IN THE PREHEATED OVEN FOR ABOUT TWENTY-FIVE MINUTES or UNTIL FIRM TO TOUCH.

WAIT UNTIL COOL THEN CUT INTO 16 SQUARES USING A SHARP KNIFE AND REMOVE USING A SPATULA.

WHILE PULLING OUT OF OVEN AFTER BAKING CUT IN AT A CORNER WITH A KNIFE TO CHECK IF ITS COOKED IF THE KNIFE DOES NOT PULL OUT SMOOTH THEN IT NEEDS MORE BAKING [I posted this recipe.]
