Original recipe makes 8 Servings
2 pd. ground beef
1 onion
1 bell pepper
2 cupchunky salsa
1 candiced tomatoes
1 cancorn
1 cupchedder cheese
2 tablespoos chilly powder
1/2 teaspoon; cayenne pepper
1/2 cupjalapena peppers; chopped
4 cupstortilla chips; crushed

Easy Southwest Skillet Bake Preparation

Cook ground beef, onions, and bell peppers, until the meat is brown and the vegetables

are tender. Stir in the salsa, reserving 1 cup. Add the remaining ingredients, except the

cheese and the tortilla chips. Cook 10 more minutes, stirring occasionally. Line the

bottom of baking pan with half the tortilla chips. Spread over with the meat mixture.

Layer with the remaining salsa, the chips, and the cheese. Top with the jalapena

peppers. Place in oven and bake at 350 F, until cheese is meleted, and the mixture is

hot throughout.
