Original recipe makes 16 Servings
| 2 cupsall-purpose flour |
| 2 cupswhite sugar |
| 3/4 cupunsweetened cocoa powder |
| 1 teaspoonground cinnamon |
| 4 Eggs |
| 3/4 cupscanola oil |
| 3/4 cupsapplesauce; unsweetened |
| 2 teaspoonsbaking soda |
| 1 teaspoonbaking powder |
| 1/2 teaspoonsalt |
| 3 cupsgrated zucchini |
Chocolate Zucchini Cake III Preparation
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13 inch baking pan or bundt pan.
2. In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Add the eggs, oil, and applesauce mix well. Fold in the zucchini until evenly distributed. Pour into the prepared pan.
3. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes in the preheated oven, until a knife inserted into the center comes out clean. Cool cake completely before frosting with your favorite frosting.
